Battery Act - BattG

According to Section 18 of the German Battery Act, we as the distributor are obligated to inform you as a customer in connection with the distribution of batteries or the delivery of products containing batteries as follows: 

Batteries are not ordinary household garbage and are therefore labelled with this symbol:

In case of exceedance of certain limit values, the chemical symbols for cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb) and quicksilver (Hg) are displayed. 

Pb = the battery contains more than 0.004 mass percent lead 
Cd = the battery contains more than 0.002 mass percent cadmium 
Hg = the battery contains more than 0.0005 mass percent quicksilver 

As end-consumer you are legally obligated to return batteries. You may return batteries free of charge after use to the return points set up by the public waste disposal authorities, such as public, municipal return stations of towns and communities, local shops as well as to us as the distributor. If you would like to choose the last mentioned option, you can return the delivered batteries free of charge or send them by post to the following address:
